Facility Rentals

The Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health has a variety of locations for you to host your next gathering. From gym rentals to parties, we have you covered! Contact the Department of Recreation, Parks, & Community Health at 708-748-2005 to book your next event.

Reservations are required to book the facilities. Applications must be received 7 days prior to the date of the proposed event, along with a refundable $100 deposit. A completed Facility Usage Application, state-issued ID, and the $100 refundable deposit are due at the time of reserving the facility. The balance owed for your rental must be paid at least seven (7) days prior to the actual rental. 

Reservations will be accepted during the following times at the Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health, at Village Hall, 350 Victory Dr., Park Forest, IL 60466.  

Mondays, 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.  
Tuesday-Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Please note: Face masks are encouraged. 

RECREATION CENTER

The Recreation Center facility is the perfect place to host your child’s birthday party or just a place to shoot some hoops. The Recreation Center features two levels, the Gymnasium and Lower-Level Recreation Room with a kitchen. Each level can be rented separately or together.

Recreation Center Rates: 
Gymnasium - $55 per hour 
Lower Level Recreation Room - $55 per hour 
Gymnasium and Lower Level Recreation Room - $90 per hour

The remodeled Multi-Purpose Rooms located at Village Hall are the perfect space for dance rehearsals, meetings, baby showers and other small gatherings. Each room can be rented separately or together.

Village Hall - Kitchen The kitchen consists of a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and large counter space.

VILLAGE GREEN RENTALS (Cunningham Dr. & Main St.)  The beautiful Village Green in DownTown Park Forest is the perfect location for your outdoor event. Whether it’s saying “I DO” to the love of your life or hosting an outdoor concert, the Village Green is meant for you. Featuring a stage, walkway, and small gazebo, the Village Green has a scenic prairie garden backdrop and is closely located to the Dining on the Green banquet hall, which can serve as the perfect indoor complement to your outdoor event. The expanded Village Green is a space dedicated to Village residents, a public, open space to engage with one another and promote community. Landscaped entirely with native grasses, forbs, and woody plants, the space is also intended to be a showcase of native landscaping and habitat. Landscape features include the Prairie Fire Garden and a garden of native fruit and nut trees. Birds, butterflies, and dragonflies are already beginning to call these gardens “home,” and as the gardens mature, more native fauna will see these gardens as a welcome respite.
