Taekwondo is a Korean style method of unarmed self-defense and sport. The word Tae means leg (foot); Kwon means hand (or fist) and Do stands for the way of mental discipline to repel aggression. It is also an Olympic Sport. Taekwondo does not mean fighting, but it symbolizes the cultivation of a well-rounded character in its practitioners, through self-respect, indomitable spirit of discipline, coordination and control. Program is led by World Champion, Master Ben Effiok. No class July 4.
Uniform is required at an additional fee of $65 due first day of class to the instructor (One-time uniform fee. Fee subject to change).

PF Excite! Cheer League
Go Park Forest! Go Fight Win! The PF Excite! Cheer League is designed for our young dancers and cheerleaders. Participants in this program will combine cheers, jumps, dances and stunts and will cheer at Bitty Ball and RPFYBL basketball league games during the season on Saturdays. All participants will receive uniform and year end awards. Practice location may vary. Program is led by Shaunita Jones and staff. No class during Holiday Break (December 25, 2019 and January 1, 2020) . Registration Deadline: December 6, 2019. Kindergarten children must be 4 years old to participate in the program.
*Payment plan available: $45 per child due at registration with the balance due by January 8, 2020. An additional $10 payment plan fee is due at registration.

Just Ballin Preseason Bitty Ball Camp
Great basketball players are made in the off season. Get a jump start on the upcoming winter league and join us for a pre-season camp. Youth will learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, learning environment and participate in scrimmages allowing parents to see their child's progress and encourage them along the way. Coaches will emphasize skill development while promoting healthy competition. Program is led by Jimmie Bowen. Pre-Kindergarten children must be 4 years old to participant.
*Note: Time change: Pre-K and Kindergarten from 6-7pm

Bitty Ball Winter League
Powered by Just Ballin...Bitty Ball is a fundamentally driven division specifically for our smallest hoopers in grades Pre-Kindergarten to 2nd grade Boys and girls will learn the basics of basketball, build confidence, develop teamwork and learn social skills in a positive and structured setting. Youth will participate in games where coaches will continue to emphasize skill development while promoting healthy competition. Basketball goals are lowered to 8 feet, and appropriate youth-sized basketballs are used. All participants will receive a uniform, and awards will be distributed at the end of the season. Spectator fee may apply. No refunds will be given under any circumstance. Please ensure accuracy in child's uniform size when registering as replacement uniforms will not be issued. No class December 24, 25, 26, 31, 2019 and January 1, 2, 2020. Registration deadline: November 22, 2019.
*Practices will be held during the week and players will be assigned teams and practice days on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (depending on team and coach). Practice is held from 6:30-7:45pm. Richton-Park Forest Youth Basketall League (RPFYBL)
Two Communities. One League. One Goal. The RPFYBL is a recreational league for boys and girls in grade 3rd-8th. In addition to emphasizing the fundamentals of the sport - passing, shooting, ball handling and defense - participants will learn the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Youth will be assigned to a team that will play in competitive games with standings being updated weekly. Most games are played on Saturday mornings/afternoon. Other participating communities may be included. All participants will receive a full uniform and basketball with awards being distributed at seasons end. Practices and game locations may vary. Spectator fee may apply. No refunds will be given under any circumstance. Please ensure accuracy in child's uniform size when registering, as replacement uniforms will be issued at the parent’s expense ($45). Registration deadline is November 22, 2019.
BONUS! FREE 3-Week Clinic! Clinic will be held Saturday, November 2-November 16, 2019 at 1 pm at Richton Park Community Center.
