The Park Forest Fire Department has three Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians to assist parents in evaluating existing child car seat installation and to assist in the proper installation of new child restraint systems. Our technicians have each attended 32 hours of training in the proper use and installations of child car seats and are certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
