Technical Rescue Trailer
While not owned by the Village of Park Forest, the fire department houses a technical rescue trailer for the Combined Agency Response Team (CART). T-7 is a 24-foot trailer with a walk-out ramp configured to carry specialized rescue equipment to technical rescue. This vehicle is equipped with a search camera, underground listening device, concrete cutting saws and other similar equipment to assist area departments at confined space, rope rescue and trench and collapse rescues. In addition to carrying equipment for the GRAY CART Team, this trailer carries support equipment for long term operations involving the fire department including tents, sleeping bags, water and Meals Ready to Eat (MREs).
