Knox Box Requirements

The Park Forest Fire Department requires the installation of a Knox Box to gain entry into a building, if necessary.

Once the installation is made on the outside of your building, please call the Fire Prevention Bureau at 708-748-5605 and someone will come out and place your keys in the box while you are present.

To obtain a Knox Box application please visit the Park Forest Fire Station at 156 Indianwood Boulevard, Park Forest, IL 60466 or call the Fire Prevention Bureau and an application will be mailed to you. All completed applications must be returned to the Fire Prevention Bureau for processing.
