The last day Village disposal will pick-up yard waste is Nov. 30.
Yard waste must be placed in brown paper bags with a yard waste sticker and cannot be placed in garbage bags.
Yard waste sticker can be purchased at the Homewood Disposal Office in Park Forest and at many local grocery and hardware stores.
Yard waste bags cannot exceed 50 pounds each and should be able to be reasonably lifted by one person. Bundled and tied branches should be cut 3-4 foot lengths and be no wider than 6 inches in diameter.
