
Administrative Assistant Traci Apt
Administrative Assistant Traci Apt began working for the Fire Department in October of 1990 while participating in DECA (Distributive Educational Clubs of America), the work-study program at Rich East High School, working in the office just 2 hours per day after school. After graduating high school in 1991, she was promoted to the position of part-time office assistant, a position that became a full-time career in July 1995. In her current position, Traci is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, as well as supervising the department’s part-time office assistant.
Traci graduated from Prairie State College in May of 1996, where she received a Certificate and an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
